David was born in beautiful downtown Burbank, California where his love for film inspired him to become a writer. An avid fan of science fiction and fantasy, David also has a soft spot for zombies and the paranormal. He now lives in the mountain West with his wife and three children.

Hi! My name's David. Some call me DPK. Others call me Earthquake. Long story. Before I could write letters, I fell in love with stories. What started as a preschool poem grew into a sci fi adventure that led to my first novel at the age of 15.
I dabbled with film and animation in my hometown near LA for several years, but writing proved to be my true ambition. Today I'm an author of Fantasy (Woven) and Science Fiction (The Undead Road). I'm something of an animation nerd as well (don't tell anybody, okay?).
