Biography

Hazel Jones Owen was born September 26, 1891 in Kalispell, Montana, to George Hyrum "Jed" and Rachel Ellen Candland Jones. She married Horace James Owen on April 22, 1915 in Ogden. They were later divorced. Hazel was a secretary clerk and worked for the Pingree National Bank in Ogden, Ogden Furniture Co, and Spargo book stores. She worked twelve years with the Ogden City School Census. Hazel was active in the LDS church.
