Joey Franklin is an assistant professor of Creative Writing at Brigham Young University and a founding member of the editorial staff at Quotidiana.org. He is the author of My Wife Wants You to Know I'm Happily Married (Nebraska 2015), and his essays have appeared in Gettysburg Review; The Pinch; The Normal School; Florida Review; American Literary Review; and elsewhere. A 2006 essay, "Working at Wendy's," won the Random House Twentysomething Essays by Twentysomething Writers anthology contest and was recently re-anthologized in the 13th edition of The Norton Reader: An Anthology of Nonfiction.
