Lewis B. Horne was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona and received his Ph.D. from University of Michigan. He is the Author of What Do Ducks Do in Winter? And Other Stories, and his award-winning short fiction has appeared in Best American Short Stories and Prize Stories: The O. Henry Awards. He recently retired from the University of Saskatchewan where he taught English since 1971.
Horne has taught at the University of Michigan, Colorado College, and the University of Saskatchewan, where he still teaches English. He publishes both poetry and prize-winning stories in a great variety of non-Mormon publications.
