Romance Novelist Michelle Renea Anderson was born in California, grew up in Colorado, and spent most of her vacation time in Utah until she finally moved there. She resides in West Valley City, Utah, which is the second most populous city in Utah. there her husband and two sons keep her busy laughing, finishing science projects and building model airplanes. With her degree in psychology, she landed an unlikely job running a computer lab for junior high school students, which is where she wrote Shelby's Plan. Since then she has done marketing for a major semiconductor distributor, data processing for Venture Data, and Computer Specialist for her kids' Elementary School.

Although her husband will claim no knowledge of it, Michelle Renea Anderson attended Brigham Young University back in the dark ages before she ran out of money and transferred to the rival school, The University of Utah. Consequently, her favorite colors are Red, White and Blue (not necessarily in that order). Unfortunately, her education did not prepare her for taking care of her sons' goldfish. Three groups of fish died prematurely before she dropped the tank and took that opportunity to give up keeping fish. Her BIG house dogs, Prince and Pauper, have fared much better.
