Petra Pauls, born in Herne, Westphalia in 1961, lives with her family in Grafenhausen, Hochschwarzwald.
As an author, she started with her two children's books "When the Sky Attracts His Night Shirt" and "The Glass Kingdom" in 1986 by Reinhard Staubach Verlag. They were followed by various newspaper articles and short stories.
In 1999 "Malani" was released, with which she won various prizes and competitions. Their biographical short stories were presented to the public shortly afterwards. In 2000, her book "Lichtblicke und andere Sehenswürdigkeiten" was published, as well as the publishing house for writing competitions - her first novel "Levitikus Erben".
In 2001 she moved with her family from Wesel on the Niederrhein to Breisgau, where she founded the Lumen publishing house in Freiburg in 2002. In addition to her work as an author, she published numerous books, as well as a magazine and an online magazine, as a publisher. For health reasons, however, she had to dissolve the publisher in 2009 and withdraw from the public.
Since then, their books have found their way to the public through the edition of Lumen, a small private publishing house in Grafenhausen.
