Balancing a successful career in business and playwrighting, Don Oscarson has collaborated on numerous productions (Sand in Their Shoes, City of Joseph, My San Diego, Six Sent South). He has also spent much of his time serving the church serving as a bishop, stake president, regional representative, and patriarch, and counselor in the St. Louis Temple Presidency.
