Rosa Lee Stayner Lloyd was born to Charles William and Mary Gilroy Stayner. She was a noted poet and author who wrote confessions and romance stories. She had a number of serials published in the Relief Society Magazine. She was named the 1958 Gifted Short Story Writer and Poet, and won several awards and prizes in literary contests. She was also published in the Wall Street Journal and other national publications. She was a past President of the League of Utah Writers, a member of National League of American Pen Women and the Utah State Poetry Society, Inc. Rosa Lee married Llewellyn B. Lloyd October 9, 1920.
