Ruby Scranton Jones was born October 15, 1887 in Parsons, Kansas. She was the daughter of George Frederick and Julia Genevra Slaughter Scranton. She married Howard Marcus Jones in 1912. Ruby died July 4, 1979 in San Antonio, Texas. She was buried in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband.
