"I am a writer.
I write my books on a Toshiba laptop computer that sits on an old secretary (a sort of desk)
that once belonged to my husband's grandfather. I live near the mountains in Utah with my
husband, my five children, a very literary dog named Kipling, an escape-artist cat named
Houdini, a trickster hedgehog named Hazel, and a stuck-up betta fish named Flame.
Besides writing, I love reading, doing yoga, hiking in the mountains, listening to good music
(especially when it's performed by my children), and playing with bubble wrap."
