This Pioneer Day commemorative concert celebrates the 159th anniversary of the first Latter-day Saint pioneer company to enter the Salt Lake Valley in 1847, and the 150th anniversary of the first handcart companies to enter the valley in 1856. The Friday night concert kicked off a busy weekend of Pioneer Day celebrations throughout Utah.
