Bed and breakfast accommodations--Fiction; Mormon women--Fiction; Wales--Fiction
Over the years, Gwen Anderton's quaint bed and breakfast has served as a vacation spot, and escape, a fortress, a haven. For each guest it is something different, tied to their very personal reasons for being there. Her current guests are no exception.
Brian McNaught, a gruff, abrasive Scotsman, takes his meals in his room, rebuffs all overtures of friendship, and disappears into the Welsh hills each day. He's a lawyer and it's rumored that he's had a breakdown of some sort.
Belinda Hunt, along with her young son, has fled from her abusive husband and escaped to the bed and breakfast to plan her uncertain future. The one thing Belinda is sure of that her angry husband will be on her trail--and very soon.
And then there are Steven and Danny who have come from Ireland for some rest and relaxation. The adventures that lie ahead for them, however, are much more that even they bargained for.
Anna Jones has written and exciting and thoroughly satisfying novel about a very special place where dreams are renewed, peace is discovered, and where lives are changed--A World Away. [from publisher website]
