Crossing Borders: The Life and Works of Leslie Norris explores the external influences and the inward views that have shaped the art of one of the world's great poets and short story writers.
During a visit to his native homeland of Wales and in interviews conducted in his adopted home of Utah, Leslie Norris talks of the storytelling tradition he grew up in, writers who helped shape his craft, the hard work needed to create a seemingly effortless poem, and the background and meaning of his best known poems and stories. Leslie Norris lives with his wife Kitty, in Provo, Utah, and is the Humanities Professor in Creative Writing and Poet-in-Residence at Brigham Young University.
