When his son is killed while serving a mission in Mexico, Mark finds himself unable to cope with his grief. Despite his wife's and bishop's warnings and pleas, he travels to Mexico seeking revenge. He instead finds deep introspection and suffering that point him on his way back home.

But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly home . . .
