Mormons--Fiction; Divorced parents--Fiction; Utah, setting; Short stories, American--Mormon authors;
Chase, a recently returned missionary, struggles to deal with his father Wymond's lack of faith, his parents' divorce, and Wymond's quick remarriage. He agrees to help the new couple move, though he really just wants an opportunity to confront his father about the way he, in Chase's opinion, ruined everything for himself and the whole family. What Chase does not expect is to hear things from his father that make him think a little more closely about what marriage means and about his plans to marry his girlfriend.
