Almost the last words uttered by Myron E. Crandall were words of admiration for a painting of John Hafen, hanging over his fireplace in his living room in his home at Springville, Utah.
He looked at the flowers, placed on the piano by his wife remarking that they were very lovely,– then fixing his eyes on the Hafen painting above the mantel he said "Isn't it beautiful."
