Salt Lake City: General Board of Relief Society, January-June 1921
Fiction, Short Story
Florence Nelson raises her son by herself after her husband dies. She struggles to provide for herself and her son, Walter. She also wonders if her husband knows the right way that Christ intended now. Walter leaves to live with his aunt, and he hears many people argue about religion, baptism, whether God has a body, the Godhead, churches supporting the poor, the Bible, and the payment of ministers. He then meets missionaries who teach him about the Book of Mormon, baptism by immersion, and the Premortal Life. He decides to learn more about the Church.
