Parley P. Pratt's Great Escape is a joyful, soulful musical celebration of the triumph of one believing man. The play is set in the years 1838 - 1839 when Parley was incarcerated in Missouri at the same time that Joseph and Hyrum Smith were in Liberty Jail.
