Fiction, Short Story
Ray Reeds stumbles upon Mexican rebels stealing a U.S. arsenal, and he is kidnapped before he can warn anyone. The Mexicans keep him in their camp, but when the Americans get close, the Mexicans plan to kill Ray. Ray prays for help, and he is prompted to hide in the brush. He keeps praying whenever he feels hopeless, and he is later prompted to leave his hiding place and run. He does so, barely avoiding being caught in a fire, and escapes safely. After his escape he makes a habit of prayer and eventually grows a testimony of it.
