Molly Macbride runs into her old friend, Ken Brady, and invites him to her home on Christmas Eve. He is reluctant, but eventually agrees. Molly tells him that her husband is tending to a woman who is in labor and whose husband left her. Though Ken speaks harshly against the husband, Molly insists that the wife would forgive him if he went back to her. When the baby is born, it is revealed that the husband who left the woman was Ken, and he goes in to see his wife and newborn son.
