Doctor Oniel is under Doctor Rankin, and Doctor Rankin makes Doctor Oniel's life difficult by trying to undermine Doctor Oniel. Dr. Oniel is bitter toward Dr. Rankin because if Dr. Rankin weren't troublesome, then Dr. Oniel could have married his fiancee, Eve, by now. Dr. Oniel and Eve drive to an appointment, and a car crashes nearby. Dr. Oniel saves a young boy from the crash, and Dr. Rankin is impressed and grateful for Dr. Oniel's work.
