Stories of hardship and survival as experienced by WW II prisoners of war reveal the almost forgotten historical events that followed the largest military defeat in United States history. Abandoned by their leaders, starved, brutalized, enslaved and silenced - 55 years later their story was finally told in the U.S. courts.
